In the antique mill a large amount of hot water was used. Due to the low pressure that could be achieved with manual oil mills, it was indispensable to accompany the various processing phases with a consistent addition of boiling water to facilitate the separation of the oil from the other elements. The room also houses a collection of ceramic amphora dating back to the middle of the nineteenth century, originating from Liguria and terracotta amphora originating from Impruneta, Tuscany.
